"The Thrilling Adventure Hour: Beyond Belief"
Sunday, October 20th - 7:30PM Egyptian Theatre
Live Performance Presented with Live Musical Accompaniment:
In this installment, “THE THRILLING ADVENTURE HOUR: BEYOND BELIEF,” Paul F. Tompkins and Paget Brewster star as Frank and Sadie Doyle, headliners on the society pages, the toast of the upper crust - and, oh yes, they see ghosts. Join these bon vivants of the non vivants and their special-guest-star friends in this hauntingly hilarious, monster-filled episode spinning out of the hit stage show and podcast. (30 min.)
“The Thrilling Adventure Hour” podcast boasts approximately 300,000 downloads every month from rabid fans, who sold out 1,000 seats and four shows at 2013’s San Diego Comic-Con, 1,200 seats in one night in TAH’s trip to Brooklyn, and make the monthly show at Largo at the Coronet the hottest ticket in Los Angeles. In 2012, TAH creators Acker & Blacker ran a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a 144-page graphic novel published by Archaia/Boom. That graphic novel premiered at SDCC this year and quickly sold out its initial print run. A second printing will be released this month. Past TAH performances have included such notable guests as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Nathan Fillion, Zachary Levi, Joe Mantegna, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Gillian Jacobs, Jon Hamm and many more.
